VR Zone Combini Promos

These primo promotional leaflets at Family Mart convenience stores officially put VR Zone on the map.

I gotto say that they did not open with a bang, with access fairly easy just a month after they started. I don’t have access to their accounting so who am I to say. As a lay consumer I can say that in the 6 months this place gets lit on the weekend but is pretty dry week days.

This is a great sign though. Promotional flyers in Family Mart are a huge financial investment and a big gamble by the marketing guys at Bandai Namco. Much love

Dissidia in Shinjuku

Dissidia in Shinjuku

Fans of Final Fantasy should shuffle on over to Shinjuku Station’s underpass this month.

Marketing department for Dissidia went nuts lighting up a lot of Shinjuku station and the underpass. If you’re willing to go through the QR motions, you can also get yourself a limited edition sticker as being promoted on the suitcases here.

Gotto day the stickers look dope, but randomized and even Thursday morning at 10:30 will land you in a 40 minute queue.

SEGA’s Mystery Countdown Clock

With JAEPO, Japan’s annual arcade game expo, just a few weeks away, a few hints at new releases are beginning to emerge.

This latest promo released yesterday on SEGA’s website has a countdown clock running to lunchtime Friday 19th.

The title “senki” translates to “war record” or “battle record” and while I’m hoping it’s a new Virtua Fighter game, the design looks a little more Fantasy..

Any thoughts on what the game could be?

Cosplay of the Day – Cammy

Would love to know the name of this cosplayer. Stunning look and super sharp.
Cammy is a real tough one to pull off but this is lush as all hell.
